The Story Behind Chelsea Cashmere

Chelsea Cashmere began not in a boardroom, but on the school run.

As two working mums navigating busy careers, family life and everything in between, we first met when our children started school together. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something more: A shared appreciation for timeless style, beautiful craftsmanship and the kind of effortless pieces that make everyday dressing feel a little bit more special.

We both found ourselves reaching for the same wardrobe staples time and time again: soft cashmere accessories that instantly elevated even the simplest outfit. Whether thrown over a jacket on the school run, paired with a suit for work or styled casually at sports pitches and at weekends, cashmere became our everyday luxury.

And so, the idea of Chelsea Cashmere was born.

From the beginning, our vision was simple: to create elegant, versatile cashmere accessories that combine luxury with practicality for women like us who love classic pieces which are designed to be worn and loved every day.

Every Chelsea Cashmere collection is thoughtfully designed by us here in the UK, inspired by modern women who want timeless style, with the occasional pop of colour, without compromising on comfort or quality. We focus on effortless designs, wearable colour palettes and beautifully soft textures that fit seamlessly into real life.

But creating beautiful products was only part of the story.

We were equally passionate about finding partners who shared our values around craftsmanship, quality and ethical production. We work exclusively with ethical suppliers and all of our 100% cashmere pieces are expertly crafted in Nepal by a family-run business with generations of experience in cashmere production.

For us, this connection to traditional craftsmanship is incredibly important. In a fast-moving world, there is something special about creating pieces slowly and thoughtfully, with care, skill, and attention to every detail.

Chelsea Cashmere is more than just a brand to us. It represents friendship, vision, creativity, working mums and the belief that everyday essentials can still feel luxurious.
